On behalf of UNITED AIRSOFT ALLIANCE, we wish to thank all the teams and players who showed up and supported North vs. South 2.
Final Tally of attendees was 400 registered players, 30 unregistered players (marshals, volunteers, players who appeared but didn't play, and "rogues"), and 50 guests, for a total of 480 attendees, which breaks the record for the most number of attendees in a one-day game. Congratulations and thanks to you all!
We hope you all had a grand time!
UAA wishes to thank the following:
Our marshals and volunteers (in order of age ): Ramrod, Mansky, CK, Bandido, Genghis, Ogre, Montgomery, Herald, Sonwar, Pyromasta, Church and Triggerhappy (who was pregnant), Ripley (who was also pregnant and who played!), Captain, Spindoc and Domino.
Jojo Rivera of team Arrows for the site, and the consessionaires.
Pibbles and Channel 23 "It's a guy thing" staff for our TV Coverage.
Gello and Shadowpesona of TNS for our chrono.
Our gear sellers: Sax, Gatling, Edsel of Dau.
Our donors of giveaway guns and gear: Brojames, Makati Airsoft Shop, Ballistic Airsoft Shop, Montgomery, Fallujah, Ramrod,
QC Mayor Sonny Belmonte for donating 1 UAA streamer.
As we always say in UAA: it's not about the numbers, it's about fellowship, camraderie and unity. Everytime we could all get together and play and have clean honest-to-goodness fun, we are all winners.
Farthest team award: Seven Lakes Airsoft Club (SLAC) from San Pablo, Laguna.
Nearest team award: The Rubberworld resident "Homeboys" Team Ex-Ops.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NORTH TEAM CHAMPIONS.
And please don't forget our month long upcoming UAA anniversary celebrations: The Quick, Dead, and Gunsmith, UAA Inter-Call Center Tournament, ending with the UAA 1st Anniversary bash on 15 October 2006.
To all our Regional Chapters and teams, we shall be posting the pictures and videos shortly.
Mabuhay Po kayong lahat!
