ARE YOU READY FOR AN AMPHIBIOUS OPERATION?
A contest of combat readiness where their skills, tactics, leadership, endurance and teamwork will be tested…
OPERATION: MOUNTAIN EAGLE 1
OPEN TO ALL AIRSOFT TEAMS
A two day airsoft competition to be hosted by Marine Reserve Brigade, NCR to be held at Marine Base Ternate (MBT), Ternate, Cavite on 02-03 September 2006.
Only 20 squads will be allowed to participate in the competition.
PARTICIPATION FEE IS P500.00 PER INDIVUDUAL.
P100.00 entrance fee for non-participating persons, such as, teammates, friends, family, spectators or visitors/guests. You may swim and picnic at MBT “Boracay Beach”.
There will be no dull moment for participants and visitors/guests because it will be a day filled with activities inside MBT. There will be a static display of Marine equipment and visitors/guests may try rappelling, commando crawl, obstacle course, slide for life and many more. Marine instructors are available for crash lecture on those activities.
AS OF TODAY ELEVEN (11) SQUADS HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR PARTICIPATION.
There will be a space for sellers booth the size of 9 sq.m. amount is P3000.00. Seller provides his/her own tent and table.
Activities are the following:

Stage 1 – Amphibious Assault / Beach Landing using rubber boats.
Stage 2 – Close Quarters Battle
Stage 3 – Ambush
03 September 2006
Stage 4 – Raid Operation
Stage 5 – Sneakers Course
02 September 2006 (Evening)
-Debriefing of squad performance
-Film showing of Philippine Marine Corps video presentation
-Fellowship night
-10 p.m. taps
03 September 2006 (Afternoon)
-Awarding and Closing Ceremonies.
GUIDELINES:
-HONOR CODE SHALL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED and OBSERVED. Failure to acknowledge hit calls despite repeated warnings and/or call from Marshals shall be a ground for disqualification of the whole team to continue in other stages of the competition.
-FPS limit is 500, for sniper guns the FPS limit is 600. However said sniper gun is not allowed to be used within 10 meters to target.
-Each squad or team shall be composed of one (1) Squad Leader and fourteen (14) Squad Members
-Lone wolves are welcome to join, however, we will group them into 15 man squad.
-Ammo number will be 3 Basic Marine Load per stage (one basic load is 375 rds x 3 = 1,125 per stage/scenario) total ammo load for the whole stages is 5,625 rds. Marine personnel will be assigned to check ammo load of each squad. We will do it the Marine way.
-Squad/Team runs will be overlapping.
-Multiple entries (squads) per team is allowed.
-Military personnel (active regular and reserve) are welcome to join, however, said team or squad will have less 10% in their scoring board or sheet since they have experience in military operation.
-Individual medals and team trophies will be given for the over-all champion, first runner-up and second runner-up.
-Trophies for every team who bested every stage will be given.
-Use of smoke bomb is allowed, other pyrotechnic is prohibited.
-Participants may bring their families and friends to enjoy the beautiful beach of MBT and other activities at MBT which will be held on said dates.
-Team effort, skills, tactics, time of execution, number of kia (participants and OPFOR) will have a big role in each squad’s scoring board/sheet.
-Marine personnel will serve as Marshal and Scorers.
-All participating squads/teams and visitors and guests shall bring their own tents and will be given a space at MBT “Boracay Beach” where they can set-up their tents.
-Hunting and shooting of birds, wild pigs, monkeys, deers and monitor lizard is strictly prohibited.
-Once you see the mountain eagle soaring in the sky, it means luck to your team, as observed by Marines in MBT.
