THE SCENARIO:
After a year of maintaining a fragile peace and order in the southern region, the Republic continues to implement community rehabilitation on areas affected by the conflict between the government and local Militia. It can be recalled that local Militia opposes the government's move to bring industrialization to the southern region due to the fear that they may lose their stronghold in the land. Missile crisis followed and ended up with all stolen surface-to-surface missiles neutralized. The chemical warheads went missing though. The government later made a press release that the warheads were recovered and destroyed.
In an attempt to fortify its control over the southern region, the government decided to hold a local election and allow the people to elect their own officials. The prime minister has already signed the executive order to the Ministry of Election to plan and execute the local election by fourth quarter of this year.
